Grand premiere in Mexico of the theatrical comedy "La que se va a armar" by Nuria Ferrer Muñoz-Seca, directed by Carolina Laursen and David Chocarro. After its success in Miami, New York and Madrid, it will be staged at the Virginia Fábregas Theater on February 10, 11 and 12, 2023 in four unique performances. This is the debut work of the author, great-granddaughter of the famous Spanish playwright Pedro Muñoz-Seca.

On February 10, the Virginia Fábregas Theater will be transported to Spain in the 1980s with a comedy, suitable for all audiences, that will surprise from beginning to end with six peculiar characters that will make the audience laugh out loud.
 
Directors Carolina Laursen and David Chocarro, well known in the Miami theater scene, masterfully direct the actors and actresses, most of them Spanish, based in Florida, including the author herself.
 
The production is in charge of Queca Gordillo for Primer Acto Florida Foundation, a non-profit foundation in South Florida, whose objective is the dissemination of Hispanic culture through the performing and audiovisual arts.
 
The entire team of "La que se va a armar", direction, production and cast, travels to Mexico backed by the success in Miami, New York and Madrid's Gran Vía, where all performances were sold out. The text, a comedy for the whole family, pays homage on several occasions to the famous play ¨La Venganza de Don Mendo", one of the most performed plays in Spain, written by the author's great-grandfather.
 
La que se va a armar", will be performed on February 10 (8pm), February 11 (5:30pm and 8pm) and February 12 (5pm). It will be at C. Joaquín Velázquez de León 29, Colonia San Rafael, Cuauhtémoc, 06470 Mexico City, where the Virginia Fábregas Theater is located.
 
SYNOPSIS: A mother and her two daughters wait at home for the judge to arrive to declare officially dead the father of the family, an internationally renowned poet who disappeared two years ago while hunting in Africa.
 
The declaration of his death also means the loss of his millionaire inheritance. Hours before the judge's arrival, a baker who arrives at the house to deliver an order notices, after seeing some photos, that the poet looks very similar to a mechanic from her neighborhood. The baker will radically change the events in a very funny way.
