PAFF (Primer Acto Florida Foundation) promotes theater, audiovisual, and community projects that bring art and culture to diverse communities in Miami.
We offer free or low-cost classes for children, youth, and adults that foster creativity, self-expression, and personal confidence. We also conduct community-focused workshops in partnership with La Casita Foundation for women in vulnerable situations, as well as "English through Theater" classes at Jesu Hope Church, combining language learning with theatrical and artistic techniques.
Participation in the Root Festival at the Coral Gables Museum and the staging of free performances of *Spanglish Robin Hood* at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Miami, bringing theater to new audiences and local families.
Special events for children and families in collaboration with Ruta Kids, promoting early access to art and bilingual cultural experiences.
Participation in “De la idea a la pantalla” (From Idea to Screen) throughout 2024 and 2025, featuring film screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and masterclasses on cinema and audiovisual production at various venues across Miami. PAFF has also supported local filmmakers and developed audiovisual projects utilizing artistic talent from Miami.
Promoting projects by independent Miami artists through our social media and digital platforms, fostering collaboration and the visibility of local talent.
Collaboration with “Navidad para Ayudar” since 2023, conducting theatrical and recreational activities for low-income children at the Haitian Cultural Center in Miami.
