Theater workshops, laboratories, workshops

At PAFF, our workshops, workshops, and labs are designed to encourage the growth of artists at all stages of their development. We believe in the accessibility of art, which is why we offer scholarships to those in need and, in many cases, offer free classes and training spaces.

Our mission is to create opportunities for both emerging and professional artists to continue exploring, honing, and sharing their talents. Each program is designed to offer practical and creative tools, fostering a community where learning and experimentation drive artistic growth.

Acting Workshop with David Chocarro

PAFF, along with the prestigious international actor, presented the Acting for Film and Television Workshop with David Chocarro, a unique experience carried out in collaboration with the Bright Foundation as part of Hispafest 2024.

This intensive workshop, lasting two days and eight hours in total, was aimed at strengthening specific techniques for audiovisual media.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

  • -Character development: You'll learn to build deep and authentic characters, ready to take on scenes in film and television. You'll also create your own character proposal for situations where you don't have prior experience working with the director.
  • -Individual preparation: tools for working alone, which is essential in the audiovisual field where rehearsals are often limited.
  • -Camera handling: techniques for interacting appropriately with the frame and conveying emotions genuinely.

David provided personalized attention in a small group, making this course a unique opportunity.

Queca Gordillo, Carolina Laursen, and Nuria Ferrer assisted and coordinated the workshop.
