PAFF and Theatre for Schools

At PAFF (First Act Florida Foundation), we deeply believe in the power of theater as an educational, emotional, and transformative tool. That's why we offer special performances of our plays for schools, inviting children and adolescents to experience the unique experience of theater on their school field trips.

Attending the theater not only stimulates imagination and creativity, but also fosters empathy, reflection, and critical thinking. For many students, it's their first exposure to a live performance, and the experience can mark a turning point in their relationship with art and culture.

We've presented school performances of plays such as "La que se va a armar," "La Isla Bonita," and "El asesinato silencio," always accompanied by a Q&A session at the end, where students can talk with the cast, get a behind-the-scenes look, and share their impressions.

These screenings not only entertain, but also spark important conversations about social, emotional, and human issues. At PAFF, we strive to develop young, curious, and sensitive viewers, knowing that art is a seed that, when planted early, blossoms for a lifetime.

Since 2023, PAFF has collaborated by creating Christmas-themed performances with the NAVIDAD PARA AYUDA (NAVITY TO HELP) foundation, which every December brings love and hope to 500 low-income children in Miami, specifically to the schools of the Haitian Youth Community Center.
